FYI, I’ve not been around just recently because my husband’s grandma died last week so he’s gone to Northern Ireland and taken the laptop with him. I’ll be going for the funeral tomorrow night and back home on Sunday.
Hopefully more like my usual activity after that!

Eeee. Look at the pretty handwriting too!
It’s amazing what doing being the lover of a great composer can do for your career as a soprano. Most would probably find that to be true, however she’d found that your lover also having murdered a few stage hands and the late patron of the opera house probably helped to ensure that he got his way. It was perhaps too easy for her to dismiss that bloodshed he’d caused- partially on her behalf, however she had. She couldn’t blame him (or anyone else) for lashing out when mistreated and backed into a corner); she had only once felt afraid of him, when she’d first met him. That had faded- he had been gentle as soon as she’d shown she would treat him compassionately and like a person rather than with pity or hate.
Of course, it made others fear her when she emerged from their home below the Opera house, his composition in hand and their instructions on her lips.
Happy Birthday, Chrissy!!
